Whoever you choose, these checks help you get a true picture:
- Look at recent reviews, not just the overall score, so you know how the business is working now.
- Read what the job was. Reviews that describe work like yours, such as a repair, a new roof or guttering, tell you more than a general comment.
- Check where the reviews are published. Independent sites and vetting schemes are harder to fake than testimonials on a company’s own website.
- See how the business responds to feedback, especially anything less than glowing.
- Ask to see previous work. A reputable roofer should be happy to show you examples of similar jobs.
